"A Day in a life..." 

 

Students are to choose a personality from Ancient Greece and are to construct a story board of "a day in a life" for that personality.

Students are to describe events and activities which their chosen person would have done across a 24 hour period while living in Ancient Greece.

 

Students can pick from: 

Athenian Citizen 

Spartiates

Athenian Woman 

Spartan Woman

Athenian child

Helot/slave

 

Students should complete 3 activities.

 

Example:

1. Where did they work, what was their role and how did they travel to their work place ?

 

2. What might they do after work ?

eg: Attend a sacred ritual or do a leisure activity.

 

3. For dinner did they host a dinner party ? If they did who attended and what entertainment was their.
